Welcome to the beta — three steps to your first answer
Gale Force Intelligence lets you ask plain-language questions of thousands of hours of recorded interviews with government and industry leaders, managers and operators. This short guide gets you from zero to your first cited answer in a few minutes.
Step 1 Create your profile
On the homepage, use the Sign in / Create account card. Enter your full name, email address, and pick the industry closest to your work from the list.
- Your password must mix small and CAPITAL letters, include at least one number, and at least one special character (e.g. ! @ # $).
- During the beta there is no email-confirmation wait — your account works the moment you create it.
- Every new account starts on the Free plan: 5 searches per month.
Step 2 Sign in
Once your account exists, sign in from the same card on the homepage. The header will gain the Ask menu item — that is your workbench.
- Your display name appears at the top right; click it any time to open your profile page.
- Your profile page shows your subscription level and lets you manage your account details.
Step 3 Run your first experiment
Open the Ask page and put a real question to the archive — the kind you would ask a mentor across the table.
- Start typing and the question box suggests real topics from the Gale Force Wins interview archive.
- Every answer arrives with citations: the video title, the exact timestamp, and a link so you can watch the source yourself.
- Rate each answer with the thumbs up / down buttons and leave a note — that feedback directly improves the engine.
- Your past questions live in the query history panel so you can revisit any result.
- What do senior mining operators say about building a safety culture?
- How do college trades programs keep curriculum aligned with industry?
- What leadership habits do law-enforcement commanders credit most?
- Open the Ask page from the header once you are signed in.
- Type your question in plain language — suggestions from the archive appear as you type.
- Refine the scope (sector, speaker, date range) if you want a narrower answer.
- Pick a retrieval method — hybrid works best for most questions.
- Press Ask and wait a few seconds for the engine to compose the answer.
- Read the answer summary at the top of the result panel.
- Check the citations: each one shows the video title, the exact timestamp, and a link to watch the source.
- Rate the answer with the thumbs up / down buttons — your rating trains the engine.
- Find every past question in the Saved query history panel; click one to re-run it or expand its results.
- On Expert and Enterprise plans, generate a PDF, DOCX or PPTX research document from the result.
